Anthony is Principal Solicitor at Herro Solicitors and is one of Sydney's leading lawyers in the area of retail leasing.

He acts for clients in drafting, advising and negotiating amendments to retail leases and in resolving retail lease disputes. He possesses an in depth knowledge of the Retail Leases Act 1994 and property law in relation to retail leases and has extensive experience in all aspects of retail leasing.

Anthony is regularly invited to present seminars and deliver papers for lawyers on retail leasing including presenting seminars/papers for Legalwise Seminars, LexisNexis, the New South Wales State Legal Conference and The College of Law (Continuing Professional Education) He has been invited to speak internationally on retail leasing.

Anthony has actively contributed to all Government enquiries into retail leasing including the recent enquiry by the Productivity Commission and the April 2008 Discussion Paper released by the Retail Tenancy Unit.

He has achieved many positive results for clients - whether they be some of Australia's major retail chains, landlords or a new business entering into a lease for the first time.

Anthony represents clients in Mediation at the Retail Tenancy Unit and at proceedings in the Administrative Decisions Tribunal, and in the Courts.

Anthony accepts referrals from other practitioners, particularly in difficult or complex retail lease matters.

He was admitted into practice in 1987 after completing a Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Commerce (with Merit) at the University of New South Wales.

Anthony's previous legal experience includes employment as a solicitor with international law firm Baker & McKenzie and Partner with Herro & Martin Solicitors.

Anthony has extensive retail business experience, having been managing director of retail chain, Mens Avenue, achieving in 1999 the prestigious Westfield Award for Retail Excellence in New South Wales (Men's Fashion.)

Anthony is a LEADR Accredited Mediator with national accreditation being registered under the Mediation Act 1997(ACT). He is a mediator on the Retail Tenancy Unit panel.

He is an accomplished professional speaker and advocate and is an affiliate member of the National Speakers Association of Australia.

Anthony is President of Eurella Community Services Inc., a charity that assists intellectually impaired children and adults.
